During campus placements, recruiters test for an array of skill sets in their potential candidates. In addition to being knowledgeable in their core subjects, students should also possess a great aptitude and soft skills. Hence pre placement training is necessary. The pre placement training is initiated from the Third semester of the academic year. The portal support of test series will be used where in a student during 5th, 6th and 7th semester has to take at least 25-30 mock tests as a part of curriculum and is incorporated in the regular class time table. In addition, Employer specific training is also arranged. For the students who are in the final year, pre placement training is given during the vacations between 4th and 5th semester and between 6th and 7th semester. Mock test is made mandatory during the 6th and 7th semester for all students. Students have to take on mock test every week and will be incorporated in the regular time table. We also provide pre assessment support.
Contents of Pre Placement Training for the Students
The students have been doing well at the campus / off-campus interviews conducted by MNCs. Department had achieved remarkably very good placements in the Last academic years and would like to continue with the same endeavors to 100% placements for coming academic years.
Keeping various Academic Needs of Students and Specific Requirements of personality development in view, the Department is devoted to develop Communication and Soft Skills of Students. Communication and Soft Skills Trainers include English Language and Soft Skills Specialists and Psychologists and HR Trainers. Apart from conducting Conventional Class Room Training, A session of two hours integrates two-to-four skills and Instructors use Handouts and Audio-Visual Aids like Over Head Projectors, Computer Courseware etc.
