Electrical Engineering Vs Electronics Engineering

Difference Between Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering

The two names Electrical engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering sound so familiar. But no, both these fields are different. Although there is a similarity in both the engineering, field that, both deals with moving the electricity around the circuit to give power to the useful products. In comparison with the similarity, there is a lot more difference between the two. The Arya College Jaipur provides engineering courses for the electrical engineering and electronics engineering.

Electrical Engineers or Electronics Engineers holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from Indian Universities. Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) at the undergraduate level is a four years degree. Moreover, the electrical engineers can have a specialization in the subject by doing Post graduation and Ph.D.

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering refers to the distribution and transmission of electrical energy, electrical machinery, generation problems, motors, and it’s controlling. However, the main objective of this field is to provide electrical power.

The Electrical Engineering describes the uses of currents, direct and alternating current, voltages and magnetic fields. However, electrical engineering is all about using electricity as a source of energy. It constitutes the analysis and designing of the devices, by the construction of the conductors.

The electrical circuits do not have the ability of decision-making. The circuits generally power the machines with the electricity.

Electrical is the management of electrical energy. To understand or work in the field of electrical engineering, one should know about the manipulation of the electrons as well as the basic operations of the circuit.

The major companies for Electrical Engineers are National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), Cement Corporation of India (CCI) and many more.

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Electronics and Communication Engineering refers to the semiconductor devices and their connection on the integrated circuits and the printed circuit boards. Moreover, the semiconductor devices are Transistors, Bipolar Junctions, Diodes, etc.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is the study of the flow of electrons in the circuit. Electronics is about the facts, knowledge, and principles concerned towards the electrons. It also exploits the devices, which is used to control the flow of electrons in the circuit. It constitutes analysis and designing of devices, which are constructed by semiconductors.

The electronic circuits have the ability to make the decisions. In addition, the electronic circuits can illuminate a signal as well as it can perform a task depending upon the circumstances.

Electronics is the distinct part of the Physics. Technically, electronic engineers and technicians all are working under the pigeonhole of Physics.

The major companies for Electronics Engineers are Tata Consultancy Services, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Bharti Airtel Limited, MTNL, VSNL, Infosys Technologies Limited, HCL Infosystems Limited, Wipro Ltd, Reliance Communications Ltd, Hewlett-Packard India, IBM India Pvt. Ltd., Tech Mahindra Limited, LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd., etc.

Arya College Jaipur is a college, which provides both undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Information Technology.
