Introductory Workshop on Cloud and Open Source at Arya

Arya College of Engineering & IT, Jaipur, in collaboration with Arya Lincom Club and Arya Intelverse (AI & IoT Club), and in association with the AWS Users Group Jaipur and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, successfully organized a hands-on workshop on "Introduction to Cloud & Open Source" on 20th September 2025.

The workshop aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices by giving students practical exposure to the latest trends in Cloud Computing, Open Source technologies, and DevOps. Students had the privilege of learning directly from industry experts – Mr. Ishan Jain (Software Engineer 2 – DevOps Engineer at Mastercard) and Mr. Manas Sharma (Developer Advocate at OpenObserve). Both speakers shared their rich experiences, covering key concepts, real-world applications, and career opportunities in the cloud and open-source ecosystem.

The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to actively engage, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of system administration and cloud infrastructure. It was not just a learning experience but also an opportunity to connect with professionals and explore future career paths.
