Arya Drones Club

Club Agenda

The motive of Arya Drones Club is to provide a dynamic platform for students to explore and advance in the fascinating field of drone technology. The club aims to nurture both technical and non-technical skills by offering guidance from seniors and mentors, hands-on practice in drone design and development, and exposure to the latest breakthroughs in the drone industry. Alongside technical growth, the club also supports members in photography, videography, de-signing, management, and leadership skills, making the engineering journey more engaging and enjoyable.
Through workshops, technical sessions, industrial collaborations, and community engagements, students will not only strengthen their engineering knowledge but also build essential soft skills. The club encourages curiosity-driven learning, allowing members to join either for professional growth or simply to explore and enjoy the learning experience. Furthermore, members will gain opportunities to participate in competitions, hackathons, and real-world projects, showcase their innovations beyond the college, and acquire valuable industrial exposure, ultimately preparing them to become proficient, creative, and industry-ready drone engineers.

Event Highlights

Industry Alignment Orientation

The Arya Drones Club collaborated with Hogwarts School of Drones, a Jaipur-based drone pilot training company. The session provided students with deep industry insights, career path-ways in the drone sector, and a live flight demonstration on the college cricket ground. This event marked the beginning of our mission to align academic learning with real-world drone industry requirements.

Geo Spatial Intelligence Hackathon

A one-day interdisciplinary hackathon organized in collaboration with the Robotics Club, Ci-phere Club, and Industrial Club. The event challenged participants to solve real-world geospatial and drone-related problems with expert mentorship. Notably, 81.6% of participants were from 1st and 2nd year, many participating in a hackathon for the first time. 7 out of the top 10 teams comprised freshers, proving that with the right guidance, beginners can excel.

Roboleague – Vaayu Shastra

A drone race featuring a complex, dragon-themed obstacle course. Participants had to navigate their drones through rings, enter the dragon’s mouth, and exit through its tail. The club ran a 7-day continuous pilot training pipeline, training over 80% participants who had never flown a drone before. All drones were provided by the college; participants brought only courage and commitment.

The First Flight

A beginner-friendly event where students experienced flying a drone with their own hands for the first time. Using lightweight, guarded toy drones (E88 Pro / E99 Pro), participants learned basic take-off, hover, and landing within minutes. The event successfully lowered the entry barrier to drone technology and built a pipeline of interested freshers for the 2026–27 session.

Conclusion

The Arya Drones Club is committed to building a thriving drone development ecosystem on campus. Through structured training, industry collaboration, and hands-on projects, we aim to prepare students for the rapidly growing drone industry. With the support of the college administration, faculty mentors, and our dedicated team, we are confident in our ability to make Arya College a regional hub for drone innovation.
