Arya Rotaract Club is an integral part of the institution and is regularly involved in organizing multiple activities around the year for the overall development of the students and strengthening the value system of the upcoming youth. It also makes them aware of their responsibility towards the humanity and the social well-being. Arya College has started Cancer Awareness Program for the students and the Faculty Members to make them aware of this dreaded disease and the preventive measures that can be taken to avoid it. A health Check-up Camp is also organized by the Club. The club regularly organizes Blood Donation Camp to fulfill this noble mission for mankind. It was recently organized on 28th March 2018 at the Arya 1st Old Campus. A large number of students, Faculty, and staff members had participated enthusiastically in the camp and around 105 units of blood were collected during the camp.
The club also feels its responsibility for the nearby villages and for that, it Organizes Swachta Campaigns and Literacy Drives for the villagers. The Gramin Cricket Tournament of Amer Bloc was organized in the Arya Campus to promote the Youth of nearby villages. Other Sports Tournament are also Organized for the promotion of sportsmanship among the youth that is residing in villages. Plantation Drives are regularly held by the club for conserving the environment.
So, this time Arya College of Engineering and IT participated in the International interaction made at the Head Office of Rotary Club at Bapu Nagar. Students Welcomed Mr. Barry J. Rassin (RI President 18-19) and Mr. C. Basker (RI Director 19-20) on 4th April 2018. This program was sponsored by Rotary International Club. The tagline of the event was, “Be the Inspiration”.
Members of the Rotaract Club at Arya College participated in the discussion. The names of the students are Shruti JhaUpadhyayka Kumawat, Himanshu Upadhyaya, Manveer Singh, Ashutosh Joshi, Saloni Gupta, Nikita Pareek, Akash Singh. Pallavi, Devesh Dhanver, Pulkit Tiwari, Lisha Bharti, Shagun Pareek, Kusum Sehra, Mamta Mayashari, Jatin, Ravi Banka, Himanshu Mishra. The main motive of these students is to provide the report of the Rotaract Club of 2017-18 and make them aware of the activities performed at the Community club of the Arya College. With this, students can develop their leadership and professional skills. At the event, they had exchanged their ideas in the discussion forum of the club with the social-service professionals and leaders. It has increased their passion, intelligence, and integrity into completing projects that have a lasting impact on the society. With this club, Arya College helps in strengthening the capacity of individuals and various communities to support the basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, increase adult literacy and other serious issues of the society and the nation as a whole.
