Relationship between Teachers and Students

The relationship between teacher and student is very essential since decades. It is considered as one of the most deeply inspirational relationships. It cherishes harbor powerful sentiments that describes affection and respect that also allows the individuals in maintaining the process of monitoring. From years, the relationship of student and teachers have been developed, nurtured and provide space for its evolvement.

This relationship acquires the ability to create powerful and positive relations that is considered as the difficult task for the accomplishment and creation of strong learning environment. An effective learning is described through two-way process which allows the students to acquire learning from each other.

The learning and teaching requires a special method to be followed which suggest that the students learns a particular subject from a teacher and a learns the method of improving teaching skills along with the creation of lessons in such a way that it will look more interesting by gaining insights from the students. Therefore, it results in learning of both the parties directly by maintaining the coordination between each other.

A positive relationship from the side of teacher is defined by many qualities that include mutual respect, good communication skills, a safe learning environment, and student equality, a positive and patient attitude and timely praise to each other. Also, all students are not alike. Some of the students take an active part in learning process and some are quite disruptive. It is the core responsibility of a teacher to create an atmosphere that is considered as conducive for an interesting and exciting learning process.

There are certain element that defines a great relationship between the teacher and the students. Some of them are as follows:

Consistent communication – It is considered as the most important element that helps to serve the creation of connection between both teacher and the student. A teacher needs to understand the problem of his/her students and accordingly should shape the style of teaching so that they can make better interaction. Form the point of view of students, it has been found that the more teachers will communicate the chances of understanding and learning by the students will be increased.

Safe learning space – It is important to create a open-learning environment where different kinds of opinions should get respect. When a teacher asks questions, it is important for the student to feel safe and ensured that their thoughts will not be criticized.
