Starting a day can be nerve-racking, but it's also exciting. You're embarking on a new future, positioning yourself to write a fresh story on a clean slate. The RTU Hackathon 2018 is an event full of coding, learning, food, prizes, and even a little competition where students learn and have fun with their passions in technology. The first day of hackathon was the perfect playground for discovery, where participants had the opportunity to get to know each other better, take on new roles, and break out of their daily rut. Mentors from leading companies had come to share their experiences and give insights into current industry trends. They also guided the teams of Hackathon and refined the startup ideas of students through one to one interaction. All the participants coming from all across Rajasthan seemed to be very excited and enthusiastic about the event. It was an exciting way to work because it demanded collaboration and encouraged participants to inject innovations. They tried to grab all the details and tips shared by the mentors to make most out of the opportunity that they had got. The students were completely into their screens as they had to work tirelessly for non- stop 30 hours so that they could turn their ideas into reality within a stipulated time allotted to them. Day turned into evening and evening turned into night but for the Hackatheletes, it was all the same as they sat in front of their laptops coding relentlessly. They had short breaks for refreshments to rejuvenate them for next 30 hours. The biggest challenge for the participants was to maintain their focus on an issue and think about innovations with a diverse set of inputs and create synergy with their teammates, combining their skills with others and being able to come up with a great outcome inspite of all the chaos and sleep deprivation.
