Chhatra Vishwakarma Award 2018 at Arya College Jaipur
Without change, there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Innovation leads to revolution. Therefore, for good ideas and true innovation, you need human interaction, conflict, argument, debate. Promoting the innovations, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) jointly organized the Chhatra Vishwakarma Award- 2018. The event focuses the students of the AICTE approved Degree and Diploma level Technical Institutes. Moreover, the event held at the campus of the Arya College of Engineering and IT.
However, the Chhatra Vishwakarma welcomes the innovation and projects by the technical students from the seven states regional conventions. The seven states participated in the Chhatra Vishwakarma Award- 2018 are Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu. It is the North- West regional convention. The event was organized in four different zones of the country, which will finally lead to the final convention event in Delhi. However, according to the facts, around 85 teams from all around the world participated in the event held at Arya College Jaipur.
The aim of the Event
The Award aims for the motivation of the young individuals, inspiring and aspiring leaders, and the institutions to raise the performance in their specific domain leading to the significant contribution towards the growth and development of the nation. In addition, the award promotes startup ideas by the young students who wish to become a successful entrepreneur in the future.
The mission of the Event
The mission of the Chhatra Vishwakarma Award- 2018 is to recognize and honor innovative work of the students by displaying exceptional skills by providing an innovative solution on the provided theme. However, the event invites students from all over the country. Chhatra Vishwakarma Award- 2018 is a national level event that gives the problems of consideration to its participants. The participants then need to provide an innovative solution to those problems.
The Problems at the Event
The problems given to the participants are:
- Water and Irrigation
- Sanitation and Solid-Liquid Waste Management
- Rural Infrastructure
- Tourism
- Agriculture and Food
- Education, Skill Initiative, and Startups
- Rural Craft and Livelihood
- Any other Rural Appropriate Technologies
The Projects at the Event
There are a number of students presenting their ideas and innovations through their projects in front of the mentors. The mentors then assess the projects of the participants and after the complete evaluation. In addition, they select few teams for the final round of convention at Delhi. Some of the projects at the event are Kishan Mitra, Smart Farm Monitoring, Mobile Irrigation System, Solar Water Lifting Pump, Plastic Tiles, Smart Garbage Monitoring System, Compact Learning, Youth Empowerment through Freelancing, Rural Tourism, Power Operated Portable Human Transporter, etc.
