Republic Day is a special day for India, celebrated annually as a National Festival all over India on 26th January to commemorate and honor the day, as Constitution of India came into force in the governing document of India. This date is chosen as it was the anniversary of Purna Swaraj Day. Republic day is one of the D-days of the Indian national events. India is a democratic country where people can live freely. Much effort has been put towards organizing events and celebrations that occur on Republic Day in India. Similar celebration has been made by the staff and the team members of Arya College of Engineering and IT. The celebration of the event included various cultural activities. The Director of the College started the event with the flag hosting. Everybody was there to cheer-up the programme. The event became success with a slogan, “Our Flag, Our Pride”. The college Director addressed the students with his motivational words. This event emphasized the importance of our constitution and indulges patriotism in students.
Different Dance and Singing programmes are performed by the students to provide tribute and dedication to soldiers or those who have made different kinds of sacrifices for country and their people. Special parade was held where students took part and followed it with March Past and Drum Beating. Various culture items were presented by the students related to our patriots. Their feeling creates a sense of love for our country and its culture and inspired future generations to dedicate their lives or at least some part of their loves towards the sake of the country. The entertainment presentation at stage has depicted a true picture of the life and customs of the people of the respective state and the progress they have made after independence. The entire event highlights the spirit of patriotism of new generation or the Indian engineers by creating the feelings of responsibility towards their family, society as well as the nation. All the students or the members of ACEIT get together and celebrated this day with great pomp and show.
