At the start of each academic year, engineering education holds a practical challenge. This challenge plays a significant role by providing them various opportunities to enhance and explore their potential knowledge and skills. For this, Arya College of Engineering and IT organizes First Karting Championship of Rajasthan at Arya 1st Old Campus. It was the most awaited, exciting and thrilling event that was started on 15th March 2018 and will continue till 17th March 2018.
The College Chairman Shri Anurag Agarwal Welcomed Chief Guest Shri Pushpendra Ranawat Ji, Hon'ble Minister Energy, Law and Legal Affair and Legal Consultancy, Govt Of Raj; Guest of Honour Shri Shiv Lahri Ji, Kshetriya Sewa Pramusk, RSS, Rajasthan and Guest of Honour Shri Om Prakash Mittal JI, National Immediate Past President, Laghu Udyog Bharti at the inaugural three-day event.
JSKC comprises of total 25 titles along with online virtual round. The winners will be rewarded by a special cash prize of 3.5 lacs. It was the full-fledged thrilling drag race that is sponsored by top brands. The main motive of this event is to give the full off racing environment and adventure of karting to the participants, giving the platform to the engineering students so that they can increase various skills of designing manufacturing and teamwork. At JSKC, students can gather and share the experiences of various states of motorsports and growing racing skills. Also, it will provide full of thrilling experience of racing environment so that students could enjoy by showing their racing skills, Team-Spirit, Innovation, Sports man-ship and team coordination. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits. Registration of the event was done online.
Drag racing is a type of motor racing or drag race in which karts compete, usually two at a time, to cross a set finish line. The race follows a short, straight course from a standing start over a measured distance. Electronic timing has been used to record race results. Apart from this some interesting events are also organized. It is a variant of open-wheel motorsports with small open Four Wheel Vehicle called karts, Go-Karts or gearbox/shifter karts depending on the design. They are usually raced on skilled down circuit. Driving the street by Go-Kart is one most thrilling way to experience the racing. After all these activities, there will be special Entertainment night and Complementary site scene in Jaipur so that it can become a bunch of celebration, experience and expertise.
