For every engineering aspirant, a great range of motivation and exposure is important. It allows the students to innovate their ideas in more creative ways. Engineering education requires developing different kinds of skills at large platform so that they could reach to masses. By keeping this in mind, Arya College of Engineering and IT is going to organize SAE NIS Student convention in association with Northern Section of The Engineering Society for Advancing Mobility on 16th February, 2018 under the Department of Mechanical Engineering. IT is considered as the leading source for mobility technology.
The company considers government officials, individuals, students or the young engineers and provides them a great range of opportunities. This inter-college competition will include several colleges by including LNMIIT, SKIT, JECRC, Manipal University, RIET, VIT, JEC Kukas and many more. The main spotlight of the event will be Automotive Quiz, Invited talks, Project Expo, Paper Presentation, Panel Discussion or sketching. There will be special cash prizes for winners based on first, second, third ranks along with consolation prize. A nominal or affordable registration fee will be charged for both SAE and Non-SAE member. This fee will also include Registration Kit, Tea and Lunch. Also, participation certificates will be provided to all the participants for different competition. The competitions comprise of cash prizes of INR 30,000.00 and will be awarded by industry delegates in valedictory function.
The main focus of this event is to provide a special platform to researchers, faculties and students so that they can present contemporary or the recent advances or innovations for future directions in Automotive engineering. It also focuses on providing an opportunity for classroom innovation for faculty in automotive engineering and teaching-learning processes. Also, students can collaborate and interact with experts and professionals, decision-makers and leaders in this sector.
The event includes various speeches by eminent or renowned speakers from academics and various automotive sectors like IOCL, Honda, Maruti, etc. there will be various activities for students that include Technical Quiz, Paper Presentation, Sketching, Auto-expo, etc. all the faculty and the student members are allowed to participate in the convention with various Technical institutes.
Project Expo - The projects of the students should be related to both mechanical and automobile engineering. All participating colleges have to intimidate the host college before 10th February for the participation.
Sketching – 60 teams, each consists of one-two members. The theme will be declared on the spot.
Quiz competition – A team of two students’ from each institute can participate.
Paper Presentation - The full text of paper along with power-point presentation has to be submitted through mail id and presented by individuals in the convention
